Q: Is the class suitable for all fitness levels?
A: Yes! This class is designed to accommodate all fitness levels, from beginners to more advanced participants.
Q: Can I bring my baby to the class?
A: Absolutely! We encourage you to bring your little one along, and many exercises incorporate your baby to make the workout more enjoyable for you both. On the other hand, If you are able to find childcare for the session, you are also welcome to come on your own!
Q: What should I bring to the class?
A: We recommend that you bring a mat or blanket for your baby and couple of their favourite toys (although, we will have a few available for them to explore). It can also be handy to have a soft carrier to hand incase your baby wants to be close to you. Please wear comfortable workout clothes, supportive shoes and bring a bottle of water.
Q: How soon after giving birth can I start attending the class?
A: This class is suitable from 12 weeks postpartum. However, we recommend that you get clearance from your doctor or midwife before starting. We take your wellbeing seriously and as part of the signup proces you’ll be asked to complete a screening form for any pelvic health issues and may refer you on if we have any concerns.
Q: What if my baby gets upset or needs feeding during the class?
A: It’s really not a problem! If your baby needs reassurance or feeding, you can attend to them as you usually would. We also have a space where you can breastfeed in comfort if needed.
Q: Are there any specific exercises for postnatal recovery?
A:Yes, our class includes exercises specifically designed to aid postnatal recovery, such as pelvic floor strengthening, core stability, and gentle stretching.
Q: How long is each class session?
A: Each class session lasts approximately 40 minutes, which includes warm-up, workout, and cool-down periods. This duration allows for an effective workout without overwhelming new mums and their babies.
Q: Do I need any prior fitness experience to join?
A: No. Our classes are beginner-friendly and our instructors will guide you through each exercise, ensuring you feel confident and supported throughout the session.
